Michael is a founder of and serves as General Counsel to Canada's most influential firearm rights advocacy group, the Canadian Coalition for Firearm Rights (CCFR), and was co-counsel in the Federal Court of Canada case of CCFR v Canada for the judicial review of the 2020 Liberal firearms ban. That case is currently before the Federal Court of Appeal, and will undoubtedly end in the Supreme Court of Canada.
With a commitment to continuing personal and professionals development, in addition to serving as strategic advisor and senior litigator for the firm Michael is also fully qualified with the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners with a Diploma in International Trust Management and all the related Advanced Certificates.
Michael is also a full credentialed Mortgage Broker in British Columbia, and has graduated from both the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course from the Canadian Securities Institute.
Outside of work Michael maintains a continued passion for the study of philosophy, taking various Masters-level philosophy courses at the University of Calgary, and an ongoing interest in business taking occasional courses at the University of London's External Program under their International MBA program.

Blair has appeared at all levels of court in Alberta, including setting precedent at the Alberta Court of Appeal in R v Effert, 2021 ABCA 388 on the law of self-defence, since cited with approval across Canada and now found in The Practitioner’s Criminal Code by Alan D. Gold under section 34 pertaining to self-defence provisions. Blair also appeared as lead counsel in Jost v Canada (Governor in Council) 2024 FC 32 in the landmark case where he successfully argued that the invocation Emergencies Act was unlawful and unconstitutional.
Blair has extensive experience in commercial litigation in the areas of complex shareholder disputes, construction litigation, contractual disputes, and hostile takeovers of private entities. Blair has further experience in acting as counsel for police officers, members of the military, lawyers and law firms, doctors, accountants, and other regulated professionals.
Outside of work Blair enjoys spending time with his family, playing and coaching hockey, reading Stoic philosophy, and spending time in the mountains whenever he can.

Timothy has experience with appeals from private arbitration, court decisions, and administrative decisions. He has broad litigation experience with corporate and commercial disputes including breaches of contract, injunctions, and construction claims. Timothy also assists clients with wills and estates matters.
A born-and-raised Albertan, Timothy gives heavily to his community. He is the president of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers (FACL) – Western Chapter, a regular judge of the Phillip C. Lisa holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary where she was heavily involved in the competitive mooting program. Besides her mooting accolades, Lisa was known in law school for supporting her peers and the broader community.
Lisa was awarded the Grant McKibben Prize, the R.A. MacKimmie Award, and a Pro Bono Students Canada Outstanding Community Outreach Award for her significant contributions. She worked as president of the UCalgary Runnymede Society, ran marketing and communications for the UCalgary chapter of Pro Bono Students Canada, and acted as Vice Chair for the Canadian Bar Association student section.
